Ayrshire Junior League Standings.
Ayrshire Junior League Standings after 5 rounds. No changes at the top of division one with Garnock Valley 1 remaining undefeated. Konnar Doyle of Garnock Valley 1 maintains his 100% winning record survving a 5 set challenge from Colin Park of North Ayrshire 1.
Plenty of Changes in Division 2 with new table toppers North Ayrshire 4. There are 2 unbeatten players in Division 2 however they will both have to play more games do be concidered at the end of the season.
The three rounds played in the weekend saw all clubs unable to field complete teams or teams at all in both divisions. Ultimately we would like to avoid this as it can affect the final result if other teams have already lost to the no shows.
Reminder to all players, parents and coaches. The end of season individual highest percentage winner must have played in 65% + of all available games. Maximum games available to a player will be 30.
Junior League day 3, rounds 6, 7 & 8 on Sunday 19 May.
Ayrshire Grading day 2 on Sunday 5 May, 10am at Geilsland School Beith. Free to Junior League Players. Other (new) players welcome £5.00 each for whole days play.

Ayrshire has a Scottish Champion.
Rebecca Plaistow of Garnock Valley Table Tennis has proved unstopable in recent months which culminated in her winning the Scottish National Championships Minor Girls (under 13) title at Scotsttoun Leisure Centre on Sunday 4 March. Showing better form each time she steps up to the table, Rebecca made her way to the semi finals to find Anna Liddle of Edinburgh, who had beatten Rebecca in the Primary Schools Final early in the season. Rebecca wasted no time in setting to task and made up for her early season loss to Anna to move on to the final against first seed Nadia Docherty of Glasgow. Lack of conentration and unforced errors let Nadia take a 2 game lead. A pep talk with coach, Sean Doyle, before the start of game 3 provided the motivation for Rebecca to win the next 2 games and taking the match to a 5 game decider. Both girls produced Table Tennis worthy of the National final with Rebecca edging Nadia out 12-10, leaving the court with a huge victory smile knowing she was the 2012 Scottish Champion.
