Ayrshire Junior League Standings.
Ayrshire Junior League Standings after 5 rounds. No changes at the top of division one with Garnock Valley 1 remaining undefeated. Konnar Doyle of Garnock Valley 1 maintains his 100% winning record survving a 5 set challenge from Colin Park of North Ayrshire 1.
Plenty of Changes in Division 2 with new table toppers North Ayrshire 4. There are 2 unbeatten players in Division 2 however they will both have to play more games do be concidered at the end of the season.
The three rounds played in the weekend saw all clubs unable to field complete teams or teams at all in both divisions. Ultimately we would like to avoid this as it can affect the final result if other teams have already lost to the no shows.
Reminder to all players, parents and coaches. The end of season individual highest percentage winner must have played in 65% + of all available games. Maximum games available to a player will be 30.
Junior League day 3, rounds 6, 7 & 8 on Sunday 19 May.
Ayrshire Grading day 2 on Sunday 5 May, 10am at Geilsland School Beith. Free to Junior League Players. Other (new) players welcome £5.00 each for whole days play.

Ayrshire has a Scottish Champion.
Rebecca Plaistow of Garnock Valley Table Tennis has proved unstopable in recent months which culminated in her winning the Scottish National Championships Minor Girls (under 13) title at Scotsttoun Leisure Centre on Sunday 4 March. Showing better form each time she steps up to the table, Rebecca made her way to the semi finals to find Anna Liddle of Edinburgh, who had beatten Rebecca in the Primary Schools Final early in the season. Rebecca wasted no time in setting to task and made up for her early season loss to Anna to move on to the final against first seed Nadia Docherty of Glasgow. Lack of conentration and unforced errors let Nadia take a 2 game lead. A pep talk with coach, Sean Doyle, before the start of game 3 provided the motivation for Rebecca to win the next 2 games and taking the match to a 5 game decider. Both girls produced Table Tennis worthy of the National final with Rebecca edging Nadia out 12-10, leaving the court with a huge victory smile knowing she was the 2012 Scottish Champion.
Fraser Murray selected to play British Primary Schools
As Scotland are the host nation for this years Primary Schools' International, Scotland has the opportunity to offer some additional players the opportunity to participate in the Individual event. As Fraser reached the quarter finals of the Scottish Primary Schools back in December, losing to the eventual winner, he has been selected to compete in this prestigious event. All the top players from England, Ireland, Wales, Scotland, Isle of Man & Guernsey are competing which will give Fraser a great chance to play at a top level and gain valuable experience. The event is being held at the sportscotland National Centre Inverclyde, Largs and the Individual competition will commence at 10am on Sunday 15th April.
North Ayrshire TTC - Scottish Champions.
North Ayrshire's Division 1 team of Chris Main, Richard Main & Colin Dalgliesh became Scottish National League Champions yesterday. They successfully beat the mighty Drumchapel team 5-1 to secure the trophy and league title. From start to finish North Ayrshire dominated Division 1, winning 6-0, 6-0, 6-0, 6-0, 5-1, 6-0, 5-1. Colin & Chirs remained undefeated while Richard's only loss was to Scottish no4 Stewart Crawford. Allan McCarry stepped up to replace Chris as Chris was unfit to play and scored a fantastic win over Daniel Swiatek 3-0. This is a great acheivement for the club, winning the top division in Scotland in which several top 10 players in Scotland compete in. This shows the consistency of North Ayrshire's top players & hopefully they can make it 2 in a row next season.
Rebecca Plaistow on Top Form
Rebecca Plaistow achieved a rare double at the Scottish Secondary Schools finals on Sunday 26 February achieving a semi final spot which gained her automatic selection for the Scottish Under 14 Girls Team. She will will travel with the team to Guernsey in June to play in the British Senior Schools Championships. Rebecca had already been selected for the Scottish Under 12 Team to play in the Primary Schools International in Largs April 13-15. Rebecca has had a very successful season winning several Regional and National titles which is a great achievement for her with not having a local club and training venue. Most Friday's and Saturday's Rebecca travels with the rest of the Garnock Valley Juniors to venues in South and East Ayrshire to train with coach Sean Doyle.
